Trick-or-treaters with face paint

It’s almost here!!! Of course, I’m talking about Halloween! As we prepare for that spookiest of nights, I just wanted to share a few safety tips to help celebrate this magical time of year.

The rush is on to find the perfect costume, for adults and kids alike, so when you head into the store, here are a few suggestions to help everyone stay safe and look boo-tiful too!

  1. Opt for make-up and face paint instead of masks

It makes trick-or-treating easier when everyone can see clearly. We wouldn’t want to obstruct the view of anyone crossing the street. Besides, what is more adorable than the face of your little one?

  1. Skip the Props

They can be awkward to carry and may pose tripping hazards. Kids only need to carry their bags and pails to collect their bounty of delicious loot. It also leaves hands free to hold. :D

  1. Add Some Glow for the Go

Speaking of candy containers, use glow-in-the-dark paint to decorate the bags and pails or add a few strips of reflective tape. It will enable cars to spot little trick-or-treaters crossing streets.

  1. Inspect the candy

Before it disappears into the kid’s hidden stash, give a check for anything that isn’t properly sealed or seems like it has been tampered with.

  1. Have fun! It’s what Halloween is all about!

Everyone loves Halloween, but sometimes it can seem a little ‘too scary’ to little kids. In this rhyming tale, many of the best creature features of the Holiday are included but with a gentle twist. Come along and join little witches, mummies and more, as they travel from door to door. Remember to put your pumpkin face in a special spooky place. After all, Halloween is a time to enjoy all the ‘scary’ fun with your girls and boys!
